Tailpro Consulting is a company dedicated to the management of tailings within the global mining industry, providing services on both a laboratory and industry scale as well as engineering services associated with the deposition and storage of tailings. Through the experience of the founding partners, both in the physical testing of tailings and operation of pilot and full scale processing plants, a testing service to define design and operational parameters for tailings handling and storage is provided to our clients.

Through our knowledge, we understand the importance of defining tailings properties which are naturally unique to every independent mining and processing operation. In addition, changing the final solids concentration of the deposited tailings can influence many operational based parameters, all of which can be analysed through laboratory and pilot trial programmes.

We operate a tailings laboratory in Santiago, Chile which is housed inside a full metallurgy lab with crushing, grinding, flotation facilities. Our flotation capacity if 300 kg/hr and our tailings thickening capacity in excess of 600 kg/hr. We have mobile labs, cyclones, thickeners and equipment for transport to site for pilot studies if needed. We also work together with equipment vendors to integrate their equipment in our studies for clients. We also have a tailings related international patent and innovation awards.

We have generated and processed many types of tailings from many different projects within Chile and internationally. We currently have a 50 tonne tailings storage capacity at our facilities.
