The Energy Challenge Chile: Chilean Startups for the Energy Transition in Germany is an acceleration program, organized by the AHK Chile and the State of Bavaria Office for South America, together with Expande from Fundación Chile and the partners ACVC, Chrysalis, Ciencia2030 Program of Universidad de Concepción, Endeavor, Engie Factory, Imagine, KNOWHUB, Magical, OpenBeauchef, ProChile, Startup Chile, IncubatecUFRO, UDD Ventures, World Energy Council within the framework of the Energy Partnership Chile-Alemania, an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
The aim of this program is to introduce Chilean energy startups to industry representatives from Germany in order to present them the innovative potential of the Chilean start-up landscape and to explore potential business alliances between Germany and Chile in the energy sector.
The winners of the program will be invited to visit Germany to explore the business opportunities of the German market and meet potential partners, like companies, applied research centers and accelerators. They will also have the opportunity to exchange experiences with the local energy startup ecosystem. Furthermore, they will be able to present their startups at the special event Bits and Pretzels, Europe’s leading founders festival which takes place in Munich, Germany, during the Oktoberfest 2022.
